Giving Opportunities

Pledging and Offering

At Covenant Presbyterian we offer our pledges for each year of giving.  Stewardship Commitment Sunday, when we put our cards of commitment in the offering plates, is usually the first Sunday in November.  We give our offering throughout the year.

Special Offerings

During the year we collect the PC(USA) Peacemaking Offering on World Communion Sunday the first Sunday of October, and the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering on Palm Sunday and Easter.  We also take an offering for a local mission designated by our Mission Outreach Committee at our Christmas Eve services.

Change 4 Children

We have beautiful handmade baskets from the women of Zambia given to each of us to collect our change in.  We recommend placing these in your homes and keeping your collection growing each month, conributing it to the "big basket" during worship every third Sunday of the month.  Click here for the Alliance for Children website and more information on Change 4 Children.

Change 4 Children Giving Update

Last year we were able to send Alliance for Children Everywhere $3,382.18 for the Change 4 Children Program.

Cari Armbruster, serving on the ACE Board of Directors writes, “The truth is that none of us can choose the life we are born into.  And the reason I live in abundance while our Zambian brothers and sisters struggle with basic needs is a mystery I can’t explain; but it’s what motivates me to make a difference in their lives.”

This year in January and February you have given $555.77.  Take a basket (in the Gathering Space) if you don’t have one yet and remember to collect your pocket change, bringing your change in every 3rd Sunday of the month for the Change 4 Children offering.  Make a difference in their lives.
